Like... Why so you ask?
Typically their kebabs are about $4–5/skewer. The barg combo is about $12 with rice & salad.
Quick Persian food in North York. The food used to be better, quality and flavour seems to have declined the past few years. That being said the food is reasonably priced, and the staff are helpful. The one funny thing about this place is that they advertise the food as healthy food, I’m not sure if that’s entirely accurate
This place is the best, so yummy
Overall it's good,needs more supervision.
Amazing spot. Rice is on fleek, and the meat is actually my old quality, not like those dry kebabs. Proper prices too.
Kabab! Perfect!
You can find tasty and high quality Persian kebabs here. Personnel are very nice and friendly.
they are not wearing MASK .that's ridiculous . with all this covid and everything i went to pick up my order, 2 staff was working there not wearing mask.
Friendly staff food is good wait time minimal
I hadn't gone to this restaurant in 10 years and all I remembered the food was amazing. So after 10 years and against the advice of all my friends who said the food has been horrible I decided to try it again.... And guess what, food was horrible. I paid 37 dollars for two meals and my friend couldn't even eat it, the barg was tasteless and seemed to be dry and old. Just horrible. The only reason I went it was because of the old memory I had of this place and well it's gone. Please do yourself a favor read the review and do not go and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. I dunno why most persian restaurants usually serve great food at the beginning and as the years go by their food quality starts to decline.
I went there years ago; the owner had horrible attitude and customer service was bad.
Love this little takeout place. It doesn’t seem much from outside or even from inside. But they only focus on take out and delivery. But food is always prepared fresh and tastes great. Portion size is also huge with very reasonable pricing. Service is also fantastic. Highly recommend this place.
Amazing food, especially the koobideh kabobs. Large portions and great prices. Very friendly staff. There are only a few chairs, so it's better to get takeout.
Got 2 meals for the price of one. Very generous portions and amazing and fragrant meat kebabs with rice :)
Love this kebab, meat is cooked right how it should be. Keep it up guys. Recommended!
Worst ghormesabzi stew I ever had in my life, definitely not buying any stew from there again
Fair prices. I truly appreciate their services and friendly environment. Elnaz and Mahin khanoom are my favorite reason to go there based on their respectful and caring attitude. Highly suggested to stop by and give it a try.
I FOUND A HAIR TWICE IN MY FOOD. And when I complained, the girls on the front said that it should be my hair which is absolutely ridiculous. The owners don't have any shame admitting or even accommodating the customers. Absolutely disgusting
Great menu reasonable price. We ordered a platter for 6 people for under $100 incl tax! Their Kubideh kebabs are really excellent.
Kabab is good, place is not good
not standard service if they know customer is different its Afghan Kabab
Just okay. I enjoy supporting local small businesses. Unfortunately there isn't anything that sets this place aside or is even notable. I had the beef koobideh pictured here. While the meat was tender, there was no scent or hint of charcoal flavour.I would recommend that the salad be cut up into smaller portions as it could not be eaten without being cut up further, like pierced of onion that were the inches long.Other than bottles of Frank's hot sauce, there was no hot sauce available. Afghan Grill in downtown provides a serving of a homemade hot sauce which completely makes the dish.Owner could have been more engaging when she was telling my order. Price was in the range of similar restaurants ($11.99).
Price is very fair and the food is delicious. Best rah dig ever!
Been going here for over 10 years, quality and taste always good, love the rice and the beef koobideh combo #15. Price did double in the past 10 years though. I recommend this place.
We ordered here twice in one day and had problems both times, coincidence or just bad customer service? We ordered once at lunch time and they forgot the extra chicken we had ordered. We let it go as mistakes happen from time to time. We had guests come over later that night so we decided to order some more from here as the food was good and they forgot something again in our order. Twice in a day! When we went back to ask for the missing lamb shanks, the owner asked for us to bring back the "lamb chops" she had accidentally put in our meal and then she will give us the food we had already paid for. This is ridiculous, we ordered something else and then you expect us to drive back and forth to bring back what you gave us on your mistake? We will not be going back due to the long wait time for the food spite us ordering on the phone in advance, the inaccuracy of the order and the rude owner/staff.
Very good kabob and tahdig
Good food. Reasonable prices. Great service.
Place is extremely dirty, no wonder they have inspection signage on the door front. Front cashier was extremely rude and unprofessional, the total came to $12, i offered to pay by cash $20, she forced me pay by card saying she doesn't have chain. Then a customer complained about being waiting there for a while and his food was not ready yet... She then replied by anger and started an offensive tone against the customer. We had to wait for about $30mins for a simple chicken leg, they got my order wrong not only once but twice! The food portion is small, food was tasty... But won't come again. 0/5 customer service, 0/5 cleanliness, 3/5 food taste + portion.... Avoid this place at any cost
Not appropriate customer service and disrespectful behavior to my father
Perfectly grilled meat and very well steamed rice . However salad for $20 take out dinner combo could have been bit more , than just lettuce, and with better dressing .Foam packaging and loose cutlery are not making it the best. However food is very fresh , very tasty , staff is very welcoming.
I love this restaurant ,however I feel like the menu is quite limited. However, the food is great and the staff are friendly. They even gave me a food sample one time. I will definitely visit again.
Extremely disappointed, very bad quality⚠️I have tried Taftan kebob’s food with my friends at Richmond hill location, the food was great, so on mothers day I ordered food for 10 people from this location. Unfortunately the food we got from this location was too much dry and also burned. I feel really bad since it was a party and this was the primary food.
Customers NOT wearing Masks. They are MASK LESS when inside the restaurant. Taftan doesn’t enforce the law. This business and the customer both have no respect for other people’s health. I will never come back again. They lost a customer because I value my health more then their food. Don’t eat here!
Price is very reasonable. Always fresh. Charcoal. Friendly staff. Quick service. Best Iranian food.
Food is good but they forgot the salad and did not have tissue paper. They also did not have mast mousir. The chicken is very good. The koobideh and barg was a bit burnt. He did give us tahtigh without me asking which is nice and got him a good tip but for the rest...
Small place hut food is always goodLamb shank with green rice is must have along with kobedah kababs
Pretty good and fast service.
Tasty food, friendly staff gave complimentary food to taste. Straight up Kebab with plenty options to choose from. Chicken was very good and tasty!
I don't recommend their Koobideh but everything else is great!
This place used to be fairly good considering the prices but the quality has gone down. Koobide was average and the barg was smelly and super chewy
Good kebab and rice. My family love to get take out for dinner from here! Would recommend trying if you're looking for new kebab places.
This is the best place ever! I love the food and the guy working there(Saeed) is really nice and kind person. Will definitely come back !
The quality of food here is gradually declining. Very unimpressed. The prices are not great either. I ordered 3 chicken wraps - and they were not good at all. First, they used stale pita bread which literally fell apart when we went to eat the sandwich. Fresh pita isn't supposed to disintegrate in your hands, this disintegrated and made a mess. I was hosting people from out of town and was quite embarrassed about the food I had brought home. They also don't use any sauce, it was very dry and no effort was put into making this sandwich, they through a bit of lettuce, and couple of onions and a couple of dry pieces on mediocre chicken. Mind you, they charged over $30 for 3 pita sandwiches. You can get much better for less at other restaurants in the area. Just drive a little further north on Yonge past Finch and you will get to taste quality. Not going to return here again.
Food is good. Prices beat expensive but it is on Yonge Street. So it was expected.
good quality kabobs
Delicious food, I wish they were close to where I'm living, friendly staffs and I love their barg kebabs
Very good!
Excellent Persian food...best for my healthy post work out meal
They give you the old and unhealthy lettuce as a salad disgusting
Poor service, mediocre food. Not recommended.
